Conference Schedule

Hi Folks,
We have been finalizing the schedule for our conference for a few days now, here is the most detailed up-to-date version:

Friday April, 8th
7:00 pm-9:00 pm: Welcome reception with introductory remarks from Dr. Samango-Sprouse

Saturday April, 9th
8:30 am-5:30 pm
Speakers and subjects of the day will include:
· Pete Wright: Presenting on legal issues in special education law, education law, and advocacy for children with disabilities.
· Dr. Carole Samango-Sprouse: Presenting on Case Studies On Girls with XXX and Early Course Androgen Treatment and its Effect on Learning in Boys with XXY
· Dr. Kenneth Rosenbaum: Presenting on Prenatal Diagnosis, New Technologies, Sex Chromosome Abnormalities
PANEL with the experts: A block of time for you to ask questions and discuss with our speakers for the weekend, the panel will include:
Pete Wright, Esq: Professor, author and attorney for children with special education needs
Dr. Samango-Sprouse: Associate Professor of Pediatrics at G.W.U., Director of the NDC for Young Children:
Dr. Kenneth Rosenbaum: Clinical Geneticist, Director of Prenatal Center at Children's National Medical Center
Dr. Alan Rogol: Pediatric Endocrinology at the University of Virginia and Indiana University School of Medicine
Dr. Darius Paduch: Department of Urology, Weill Medical College of Cornell University

Sunday April, 10th
8:30 am - 2:00 pm
Speakers and Subjects of the day will include:
· Dr. Laura Tosi: Bone Health Issues in Children
· Dr. Darius Paduch: 200 XXY boys on hormonal treatment - his experience
· Carol Stock Kranowitz: Author of the Out-of-Sync Child books
· Dr. Alan Rogol: Androgen Replacement Therapy through the ages: Infancy, Childhood, Adolescence, Young Adulthood
· Dr. Samango-Sprouse: Developing an IEP to get your child's needs met

No this will not replace any of our other conferences that we normally have.
